7 Jun 2009We have all experienced this at one point or another. There is always that game, that UNIQUE game, we all keep. The one we put on every day and could not wait to returning to when we stopped. The one we really, genuinely could not put down. Until one day, on account of disc damage, it was no longer fit to be played. For a number of people it was Halo 3, for others Dead Rising.

In my case it was Oblivion. I put in hours doing every side quest, retouching my character. Imagine my amazement when, as I reached the final stage of an extensive quest line, the game became unplayable: dialogue stopped my console commenced to buzz loudly and the game stopped advancing. Despite what I did I was not able to get past that particular point in the game. Taking out the disc from the tray, I saw nil basically wrong with it. Upon closer inspection, however, there was a small scratch in a key region. We have all experienced this, and I made my choice: caught between the hammer and the anvil I opted to substitute a videogame I had already purchased.
This need not have befell me and it need not befall anyone else. Producing backups is a licit solution and Xbox 360 burning is relatively easy. With nothing more than a piece of software we can make replicas of our licit purchased games to ensure they always remain fit to be played and that our substantial investment does not disappear. Scrapes are impossible to stay clear from as they can come from anywhere: children, pets, faulty packaging, accidents and not just this but also the system tray appertaining to the consoles themselves. With Xbox 360 burning software, on the other hand, we can protect our easily damaged game discs by creating copies we can use in their stead at the same time that our originals remain unscratched.
