We’ve all felt the urgency to create copies of our games but have come up with  excuses not to: it’s not allowed by law, it needs a chip, it’s difficult. This is where the self-justifications end. It is legit to backup games you own, it does not require a mod chip and it is as easy as using a specific downloadable software.

Make backup copies of your Xbox, PlayStation, Wii, etc. games today! Click to find out how!

As technology has progressed so have its characteristics. A game cartridge for an original console system could fundamentally survive a hurricane without important adverse effects. They were carelessly handled frequently and remained playable all the way through. Digital media, however, is far more fragile. CD’s and DVD’s have a surface that is exhibited directly to the elements turning them more inclined to receive direct deterioration. Xbox 360 disks, due to their high aggregation of information, are even more fragile. A small, almost unperceivable mark in the wrong place can make an entire game useless. Imagine that: 60 dollars down the drain due to the tiniest of scratches.

We all  attempt our best to preserve our games, naturally. We store them cautiously, we try not to touch the disc surface directly. The fact is, nevertheless, no matter how hard we try we will never be in a position to make sure that the games we are playing with remain entirely scratch free. The only solution that will totally protect our games is to produce backups.

You’ve seen the advertisements, of course, in gaming websites or search engines “Xbox 360 how to copy”, “Xbox 360 ways to backup your software!”, etc. What you may not realize is that it is one hundred percent and absolutely LEGAL to make backups of games you already own as long as it is not for the interest of distribution. It is as well relatively simple to the point wherein a mod chip is not even necessary, merely a specific piece uncomplicated to use software.

Given the high cost of games these days and their propensity for being damaged (the Xbox 360 is notorious for scratching disks while they spin in its tray even when the console is in very good working condition) using backups makes the most sense out of any other solution. You can play with the copy while safely storing the original, thereby making sure your software is perfectly protected.
